Mercados Buenos Aires is an argentinian grill in the Valley. I think there are two locations, both of them are similar enough. really good grilled meats. They come on a little portable stove thing that the waiter sets on the table to keep it warm. Great empenadas, and fantastic espresso.
Pasta Sisters in L.A., a little west of ktown I think. Great hand made pasta dishes, hand made sauces. Anywhere from $8-17. They only have 3 tiny tables and some bar seating. But great food.
