I'm with Sydney, I'll be voting for Travis Allen in the Primary. However, only the two contenders with the most votes in each race advance to a showdown in November, even those from the same party. The rest go home. So unless a miracle happens your choices in November will be Newsome and Villaregosa.

Jammer, I am not worried about them moving out since they either come back or there will be plenty of other who will take their place. They probably didn’t get it in the first place. I have had to deal with companies moving out of state and coming back with their tails between their legs when they cannot find the talent CA offers. Also, I am not necessarily a fan of paying taxes but I said you get what you pay for. I honestly think CA should be its own country and keep all the rednecks out. We will see how long those other states can go without CA’s resources.

What good is a "rainy day fund" with $400 Billion Debt and a Bullet Train to no where.
His "Rainy Day Fund" was built using the middle classes and poors savings.
What is normal now is to work for the City/State until retirement then move out of state to live a better life with the CalSTRS retirement packages. I do not blame the workers or their unions, but I can the elected officials that gave away the states next generations future.
There is a very good portion of California that is Redneck, but the Gerrymandering and lousy California Electoral all for one party makes it seem that the whole State feels the same as LA and SF.
I believe the States set their own rules about how the electoral votes are counted, a fairer system would be to allow each districts to vote as it is and give the two extra to the majority.
All I remember of Villaraigosa is that he spent most of his time traveling, the remainder with the hot news anchor and left the position disgraced and supposedly broke.

Think about it.
CA is probably the nbr 1 tourist destination in the country if not the world
CA leads the nation and world in food production.
CA is the entertainment capital of the world.
CA is the worlds technology leader.
CA has gold
CA has oil
CA has the best climate in the country.
CA ought to be so rich that instead of paying some of the highest taxes in the country, the state ought to be writing all residents a check every year, like in Alaska.
This is the legacy of our state government. You all know the party that controls the state government, which answers only to unions.
