You see I thought the same stuff too, shitty music and and awful look, but he doesn't go through traditional channels at all and is actually pretty successful all things considered. It also is catchy. The thing is seeing a guy like him makes me think I could do that shit too lol. That is the thought process most young ppl these days have when seeing and hearing this new generation of sound cloud rappers and YouTube stars streaming on their phones.

I have no issue with independent artist, but this generation of clout chasers with minimal talent is hurting the art form. 6ix9ine, Lil Pump, Bhad Bhabie, Lil Xan, XXX and anybody else put on by DJ Akademics are trash. I hear about their antics before I’ve heard a single one of their songs. At least mumble rappers actually rap. These clout chasers are over hyped on social media
