I think a lot of people these days think of petite as way to describe a slender frame. I've had people call me petite even though I'm almost 6 ft tall. Always makes me giggle.

LOL.... Petite clothing sizes come in short, reg, and long. So yes you can be petite & tall.
Don’t have to be skinny to be petite either. Petite pants/jeans usually go up to size 9.
I think you guys are thinking of a SPINNER. A spinner needs to be very short & have small
frame.... like 5’0 & 95lbs

I know we live in an age where people come up with their own truths, but can't be tall & short at the same time. However, I suppose a tall woman can shop in the petite section if she has freakishly short legs.
