If you have WiFi connect your phone to that and enable WiFi calling. At least Verizon and T-Mobile support it, not sure about others.

Maybe switch service to Verizon. I have never had any dropped calls or weak service areas anywhere in Southern Calif.

Turn on WIFI calling on the phone.
You may have to call carrier to enable; just dial 611, and ask for level 2 tech support.
For about $200 all major carriers have CELL-SPOTs that plug into your WIFI router and provide a cell signal to the phone - sometimes you can get them free by saying you want to cancel and return phone because it doesn't work at your home location. Don't buy them on eBay because they must be activated by the carrier, and they only do that if they sold it.
TMO has boosters that don't need activation, and they sort of work. Not great, but OK. These you can buy on eBay. About $50.

Try to get near a window...The exterior walls of many homes have wire mesh in them...this stops the phone signal from entering the house, this explains why when outside phone works.
Windows pass the signal as long as they are big enough. The bigger the better.. If you know where the nearest cell tower is try and get near a window facing that direction...signal is best when you can have line of site to that nearsest tower.
It is possible to have a system with antenna OUTSIDE that feeds and antenna INSIDE the house so as to by pass the shielding effect of the wire mesh in the exterior walls that I believe is reducing your signal inside the house. ( inside antenna re -radiates external signal into house)

u can call your carrier and ask them to reconnect you to a tower, or if you continue to have weak signals u can try to persuade them to sen you a wifi tower for free. ddepending on the carrier you have its possble i have sprint and they were pretty accommodating
