That's a hell of a workout. 20,000 pennies weigh between 110 and 137 pounds*

* Depends on the type... the ones with Lincoln memorial on the back weigh 3.11 grams each, the ones with the union shield are just 2.5 grams. No idea on those Canadian pennies that slip into circulation.

Of course I would take them then go directly to a Coin Star machine. If you take them to a bank you have to roll them up.

I've separated copper pennies from zinc pennies since 1982. I put the copper in a jug and roll the zinc and return them to the bank. I estimate that I have about $450. in copper pennies.

I would not accept penny's.

I would, however, accept pennies.

If Perfect Penny offered me $200 (to clean my HOTrod) I'd think about it for exactly three seconds and accept.

If Grump offered me $200 in pennies (to clean my HOTrod) I'd suddenly pretend I was a stutterer.
