There have been analyses of Indian gaming and everything I have ever read states overall worse odds of winning in an Indian Casino than in Las Vegas.
|
|
I've been Indian drunk a time or two...

Nevada casinos must report payouts for everything, so the rate of payback is calculated down to the 1/100 of a percent.
Indian gaming is not required to publish their paybacks to the general public, they are reported to the Federal Indian Gaming Authority that does not release that data......If they were better, the Indian casinos would be publishing their own payouts....so why are they keeping it quiet....must be worse.

+1 Jazz
slots are more loose in Vegas but they get you back with the parking fee and resort fee....
and Vegas doesn't comp you like they used to....unless your at the tables you will die of thirst now waiting for that cocktail lady!
I miss the 90's, rooms where not expensive, they would comp you show tickets, cocktail lady would come around every 10 minutes even at the slots and $7.99 all you can eat buffet dinner!....yes you would gamble it all back but there was an understanding, now every department has to make a profit.

Who wants to win a bunch of wampum?

Indian casinos are definitely worse than Vegas in the areas of video poker and blackjack.
Those are games where the customer can find out if the odds are better or worse, without needing the casino to publish anything. For these 2 games, the odds depend on the rules and the payout ratios, and those are given right there in the casino.
Since they are worse on those 2 games, I have no reason to believe they are better on the slots, the most commonly played game.

All I know is when I go to an Indian gaming casino all I smell is desperation and cigarettes. At least in Vegas they serve you free drinks and plenty of nice solo young ladies playing video poker
