Of course, if we are going to use stupid, lazy, compliant press, who literally know nothing as any criteria, the majority of the press fall into that category.

Selective journalism....
They cover what THEY want and give only those details they want to share.....
We do not get a full story unless you check 3 or 4 independent sources to get all the 'spins' on the story.
They are lazy and entitled idiots. They need to actually work for a living....

We just have people who don't report it as it really is.....And that includes the media and our government.

Y'all are missing the big picture. It's not lazy journalism by reporters, it is who they work for trying to push certain narratives. When you have only a handful of companies that are allowed to monopolize the t.v., radio, newspaper, and news website markets, you end up with a stiffled press. Relaxed fcc rules allow for biased reporting presented as unbiased.
Some single companies can come into a town and take over most of the local channels and radio stations, in essence offering only one voice to tens or hundreds of thousands of people. They are then allowed to give unlimited donations to politicians to keep the status quo and/or push legislation that benefits their corporation, to the detriment of the citizens.

Randy...however, the news agencies, especially the newspapers USED to separate their editorial comments and general news.....so the paper's opinion was only expressed in the Opinion or Editorial sections....
Now, there is no difference....it is all editorial.
Of course, those folks are so short sighted.....people will soon give up on getting any news.....look at the newspapers subscriptions...dropping like rocks....many news shows likewise, have weak ratings.
