What irks me is the Hypocrisy of it all when it comes to Trump and his thralls. On one occasion Trump slams McCain and now he praises him. Trump does disdains people who achieve things out of hard work because he has never achieved anything through them hard work. To this very day Trump cheats at every thing.

On one hand Trump disrespects McCain and now he finds the need to show respect for the man's accomplishments. That is hypocrisy.

I liked when McCain stood up to his party and said "Hey, we promised the American people for 8 fucking years that we would repeal Obamacare and REPLACE it with something better and more workable. Now you are asking me to repeal Obamacare and replace it it with a plan that doesn't really do much for the people. Sorry, can't do it. We need to do what we said for 8 years, not this piece of baloney."
One of the few times I agreed with him. Mostly, he and I were on opposite sides in politics.
Despite my disagreements with most of his politics, I acknowledge that he suffered greatly as a POW after being shot down right over Hanoi and damned near killed by the NV civilians who came to the crash site. His captors tortured him in the POW prison. And when his captors offered him early release because he was related to an admiral, he refused, saying there were other GIs had been there longer, so it wasn't his turn. That took an amazing amount of courage. Not many people would volunteer to stay with longer with enemies who tortured them.
Like all of us, McCain was imperfect. But whatever else you want to say about the guy, he had guts, he went his own way, and he served his country as he thought best. Not a bad epitaph.
Rest in peace, sir.

Anything Trump says comes off as disingenuous. His actions past and present has shown width, length, and depth of his character. I wonder which group Trump will betray next just to save his own skin. Will it be the religious right, fiscal conservatives, Wall Street, but one thing for sure he won't betray Russia and by extension Putin.

Trump has this neurosis where he has to interject himself into everything. He tries too hard to dominate the cultural zeitgeist where it is always about him. It does not matter if subject matter is good, bad , or different just as long as people are talking about him he is winning.
As others have said before, the man is starting to believe the lies he tells about himself.

How can you social conservative types allow a man who has cheatead on all three of wives lead your moral cause? If the man can't uphold the promises he took before his God, Family and Friends how can you trust this guy living up to to his pledge to uphold to protect the country and the constitution?
How can you free trade capitalists types believe what this man says about free trade when he abrogate every negotiated treaty with our trading partners. If you try and renegotiate every treaty every other year your reveal that you can't be trusted to uphold anything you promise to do.
The longer this man is allowed to operate more and more his flaws, inconsistencies, and moral failures will be revealed. The question is how long will it take you to realize that the Emperor has no clothes and you were duped into voting for him just like he duped people into enrolling into Trump University.

In 1968 Private Bone Spurs was 22 years old. He had a total of five deferments. Four were for college where alot of big words and one for bone spurs. The guy was an athletic in 1968 but he was the son of a very rich slum lord in New York.
