Go chase some ghosts at the Void in the Glendale Galleria. they have the GhostBuster experience going right now. THE VOID is a whole-body, fully immersive VR experience. So much fun running around blasting ghosts or Storm troopers.

I get a charge out of that stuff too. If you're even down in San Diego, try The Whaley House in Old Town. I thought it would be too touristy to have fun but it has a very cool, spooky vibe. The last time I was there, they had all the mirrors covered with black veils because apparently back the the day, after a funeral, they would cover the mirrors so you didn't accidentally see the ghost of the departed over your shoulder as you glanced in the mirror. Kinda freaked me out and I thought I saw something. Power of suggestion is guess. A bonus with Old Town is tons of great Mexican food close by.
The Stanley House in Garden Grove is supposed to be haunted too but I've never been.

I had a college friend show me a picture on his phone years ago. It was a picture of a house near his place, nothing stood out. But if you zoomed in at the window on the second floor, there was a ghost figure of a woman. I think he said the house was for sale at the time, and no one lived there.

Sections of the Queen Mary in Long Beach are said to be haunted. Perhaps contact them and see if there are ways for you to experience this.

The Queen Mary is definitely haunted. I have captured a couple of EVPs during a paranormal tour. Have seen shadows at Black Star Canyon.

someone go mess with this place, used to live near there and I can attest to the revolving door of new owners cycling through very fast. The locals all know about it and not much info was ever found on the net.

Check out Black Star Canyon at night. Take Santiago Canyon Dr. east from Irvine Park towards Silverado Canyon Rd. Then make an immediate left turn on Black Star Canyon Rd. That place will give you the creeps.

Queen Mary, although not Orange County, is a place I have witnessed paranormal activities.

I'll have to look it up, but there was a place in San Diego that you can go overnight. I think it was a camp ground or cemetery. My ex never wanted to go, so I just forgot about it.

I know it's not OC, but there is a bar just north of downtown where you can sometimes see extra shadows on the wall when it gets crowded and you look at the mirrors.
I think its the cork room.
