If I read that article correctly, there was never going to be a "real" benefit to homeowners (like
cash, debt reduction, debt restructuring, etc.). Instead the money was supposed to go as
follows: "The programs included housing counselors, legal and consumer education, and efforts
to investigate and combat financial fraud." This sounds as useful to defaulting and
underwater homeowners as a resume class is to a laid off employee.

Hell..... All Calfornia politicians due his screw over the people.
Look at the gas tax, In 2011 California taxed the hell out of gas to pay for road repairs. Fast fwd to today no road repairs have been made and a New gas tax was passed to once again repair roads.

I drive to work in Brea and they have repaired the same street corner 6 times in the past year.
Damn right the tax money for road repair is not being used correctly.

Governor Moonbeam has always screwed people over, even when he was not deliberately trying to.
To be fair though, I think most Californian's, who vote by public opinion than reading the damn booklet they send out are a special kind of stupid.

i think i saw the dem up by 38 6weeks ago and last week maybe by 5 over the repub...the dem leaders keep pushing their shit so hard it will drive the vote to repubs...you would think they would be smarter than that...letting stuff be status quo for a month or so until the vote
