not yet, the governor still has plenty of room to tax the citizens more first
Brown said he has a $6 trillion surplus LMAO Oh wait, most of the union pensions are underfunded...
I'm a big believer in conspiracies. I believe a lot of these fires are set by terrorists. Bankrupting the state and a easy crime to get away with because usually there are no cameras so unless there is an eye witness to get a license plate number they are rarely caught.
6 trillion surplus, yet ca schools are ranked 47th , taxes are among the highest in the country and we have the highest number of homeless and welfare recipients in the country. good job jery
Bonus, Ca has the highest rate of poverty too... See what Brown can do for you...

IMHO there will be a financial crisis that starts in Turkey.
The Turkish Lira has fallen dramatically and in an effort to avert further collapse the Turkish Central Bankr raised its interest rates to 24%. The interest rate was increased by 625 basis points. The Turkish Lira is down 60 % year to date.
As a basis for comparison with other out of whack countries :Aegentina's interest rates are at 60% and the failed state of Venezuela is at 20%.
Right now if things turns bad in Turkey, it could spread into Eastern Europe and Italy.
I am going to get ready to start shorting Italian Banks and other EU countries that may have exposure to Italy and Turkey, Poland and Spain.

Whoa. I was talking about the Boston gas fires and the Carolinas storm that are on the news and the reconstruction costs (i am in the industry.)
How did this turn to governor moonbeam as CA scams?
@raspberry you do realize that the turkish Lira is falling due to sanctions against Turkey. Trump sanctioned turkey because Erdogan would not free american prisoners being held in turkey as political prisoners in

Why did Constantinople get the works?

6 trillion can buy a bomb ass bullet train.
bullet train would be pointless in cali. cali needs more resevoirs
I thought CA wanted to get rid of bullets, not build trains out of them.
Thats only a compromise.
Oh and Cali needs more Liquor Stores.
I'm pretty sure there already are trains that take you all around Cali and on routes that go out of state
Hopefully a lot more of you will move out of state
And it won't be a 'bullet train' in segments since they will have to use existing tracks because Jerry is too stupid to understand that land through SF and LA cannot be acquired unless the state wants to spend trillions on this stupid train. So it will 'bullet' down the central valley, but stall out when getting closer to urban areas.....
Cost over runs and it won't actually go as fast as once described. Thanks for the bullshit train, Jerry......
No worries...Jerry is now planning to have Calif launch it's own environmental satellites
Good thing he will be gone before that happens!.
Jerry’s getting a face off face lift to get re-elected
And erected

California has driven away so much business with its policies.
As manufacturing and other industries depart, the jobs left are hospitality and other mostly minimum wage positions. Then we wonder why our poverty level is so high....DUH.....
Learn basic economics.....low wage people pay less taxes...more government positions mean more pensions that we do not have the money to fund. So tax revenue shrinks and costs continue to rise.
I hope they keep it up too so more of you people leave
Errr ummm ejected

Give people free shit and they’ll vote for whomever is giving it. Doesn’t matter if it’s never paid for.
Fucking Dems and Repubs.
How do I get the free shit???
Costco samples?
Costco alcohol is pretty damn good. Their Kirkland brand sells really well
The train is being pushed to cut down on carbon footprint. You can see what California is doing by giving incentives to buy electric cars and making people pay a higher tax on gas driven and older hybrids .
But now California is removing many of the electric and hybrid stickers for access to the car pool lane. Once again a bait and switch. Many people opted for these vehicles for car pool access. Now only NEW such vehicles will get the stickers.
Of course, the air over California just hovers here and we don't get any drift from the rest of the world....so we have pristine air and no one can mess it up...oh crap, that's right, China is one of the largest polluters in the world....but their air stays over their country...
Due to an arbitration agreement in 2004, I have free lifetime membership to the Costco
Munk, I need 40 lbs. of masa. Can I hitch a ride with you.
Kirkland underwear !!!!
Couple of these girls sell their underwear case you didn't know.
Angler,
Don't worry so much about those pensions. I mean the last numbers I saw on those underfunded government pensions put the amount underfunded at $15,000 for each person living in California. So 40 million people times $15,000 per person really is not that big of a number!. Sarcasm fully intended!
I'm sure the State Government is counting on all the illegal aliens to pay that...
Sarcasm continued...
Venezuela, LOL.
