Removal from office requires not only impeachment by the House but also conviction by 2/3 vote of the Senate. That will never happen, unless the Republicans decide they would rather run Pence than Trump in 2020.
Impeachment will give the Republicans the option to stick with Trump or ditch him for Pence. Not a bad position to be in.

It seems like we have gone back in time listening to Democrats talk about Trump. The last time we mad e the mistake of hiring a special prosecutor to investigate a lying, womanizing President was with Slick Willy. Much like that investigation, I expect that nothing of substance will happen. Even if Trump is impeached, he won't resign and the Democrats don't have the votes to remove him.
This will be another giant waste of taxpayer money and time.

Rasberry8951 I'm with you on trump being terrible, however the 2008 financial meltdown can be traced back to bill clinton, he deregulated wall street (glass stegall, etc) and increased the prison population by 60% in the usa. He made plenty of mistakes. But at least he could talk properly. When GW Bush was president I thought I'd never see a more inarticulate potus in my life but comparing trump to bush makes gw look like abe lincoln. Just my 2cents.

Phil Gramm from Texas introduced it under Senate Bill 900 which passed 54-44..
