The Zenith no doubt. The 4030 movement in the REF 16520's are gonna be super collectible. I have a Daytona 116500 so I'm obviously a fan of the new ones as well but if I was choosing between them, the Zenith for sure. It's a classic that seperates itself from the pack. Just my 2 cents...

I keep getting stuck on the the idea that the Zenith El Primero movement is based on a Valjoux movement.
But the collectibility factor comes to mind since Rolex will never ever outsource the Daytona movement ever again.
I guess the collectibility factor of the Zenith El Primero movement will out pace the intrinsic value of the newer white gold case of the newer Daytona.
First world problems, I guess.

Ignorant display of wealth

I couldn't decide between the Patek Philippe 5004t or George Daniel Co-Axial chrono so I got both.

I just look at my phone 71b

lmao investment!!!!! Buy it and wear it if you want to but as an investment you'll be hard-pressed to get your money out of it. How long has that washed been up for sale?

Just get both, you fucking idiot pauper
You a fancy mufuka!

Give the money to the democrats in this state. I am sure they can find a good cause for it....

I nearly lost my Breitling in a fisting gone wrong

+1 Mr. Most Perfect This community has been overran by braggadocious paupers. This yutz talking about his “c” quality jewelry. We had another grandma 👵🏼 of a provider talking about driving around in a new corvette. It’s like this place went to hell in a bucket.
Get whatever you like ... I like the white gold better
Someone should check the prices that Mr Smuckers is talking. Because I know this grandma 👵🏼 on the boards that said the corvette was worth 140k only to find out it was worth only 40% of that price.

Rocky said "If you wanna have a good time, you gotta have a good watch"

There are better ways to invest. Why buy if you're not going to enjoy it?
Why are you buying the watch? The most important aspect of buying a watch is to wear it, and let it be enjoyed by not only yourself, but others.
I wouldn't get hung up on the zenith daytona.
Any stainless Daytona is a good daytona.
If you're spending in the neighborhood of $25-30K, just buy something new. Your "investment" will be the fact that 30 years from now, you enjoyed wearing it many times, have many of your own memories with it, and you're ready to pass it on as an heirloom.
If you're buying a watch as an investment, you're not spending enough or looking rare enough, to be honest.

@ BOD Iron Man’s Downey’s watch collection is also Tony Stark worthy as well.

Sndwoody, the guy's "Dead White N#gga" tee shirt must have been in the wash...along with his "Rich White Bitch" tee. Nice boots. Too bad they don't match the purse.

Edit yourself you no testosterone having yutz. You threw a buncha one-liners at the wall and not one of them sticks. However were you to lead with your best one, it may have elicited a chuckle from the heavyset, older, white and goyim crowd that you seem to be a member of.

I will most definitely stay away from the Swatch Group's chronographs.
No to the Omega Speedmasters and the Breguet Type 20s.
I didn't think there were so many NASCAR fans here. I love the Daytona.

Seamaster, baby! $4k+ and struggles to keep time!
Its a watch!
I look more at my phone, rather than my wrist.
But it’s your $. Do what you’d like.
But it’s still a watch!

Just like a Porsche is just a car.
Or a Lamborghini is just a very fast car.
I want 1 hun
I get it.
But a car can get you from point A to point B.
Unless that watch can transport you in time?
Just my 0.02
It's all good.
Do you smell that?
Yep. Pretty sure it’s bullshit.

Thank You Haters. You all give me strength and the drive to prove to all of you that you are all wrong.
As Frank Sinatra once said " the best revenge is a successful life."
Too bad you're not motivated by pity.
That's what I'm seeing here.

I feel sort of guilty. Over the years when my sister worked for the Citizen watch company she gave me several watches. Since I've been retired I haven't worn watches, I just check my phone for the time. I take them out about once a year to check the batteries except for my Disney Land Mickey Mouse ECO Drive.

I tell time by placing a stick in the dirt. I call it a Grump Dial.

My Grump Dail is never wrong.

Daytona’s are generally good buys bc they don’t depreciate like most watches, and they’re versatile enough for everyday activities, as well as getting the respect from watch collectors. However, it only applies to the stainless steel models; the gold models, doesn’t matter white or rose or yellow gold, drop in value quickly as you’re paying for the markup in gold on top of the Rolex brand. If you really want the latest movement in white gold, you can pick up a used one in god condition with a nice discount.
Go with the Zenith movement if you want something that’s more likely an investment worthy piece. As for wear and potential damages, white gold is soft and more likely get damaged if you wear it regularly.

The clock on my wall is never wrong

Mine is right, twice a day.

My point exactly

Mr Raspberry, gonna make you an offer you can't refuse.
Give me $10,000. And I'll tell you what time it is whenever you call me.
Oh hell. Just realized I fell for the Dead Block Resurrection trick.
Man, just buy both
F these haters.... LoL
