Tourists are gone and the beaches are available again.

I built an outdoor shower that I use every day and yesterday I stopped on the way back into the house and I said "Fall is in the air"

Well I'll definitely be visiting Palm Springs now that you mentioned its cooling down!! Its so special and relaxing out there

I use to live there. It's Pretty much like that every year. If your outside need to be done by 9 am. Unless your sitting in a pool living the good life.

My air conditioner's heater tops out at 86 degrees. So I kept it at 86 to keep cool this summer.

As soon as falls arrives I'll be water skiing on the Salton Sea.
Nothing like the desert and fresh air.

Needles (my home town) is HOT !! Palm Springs is a piece of cake compared to Needles, and the Colorado river is at your footsteps !!!
OMG bb1 don't go water skiing in the Salton Sea !! It's full or Corvina (they have teeth) & I went water skiing in that water years ago and got a bad ear infection the water is gross, I can't believe I got in it !!!!
I love the heat, but I am looking forward to wearing some pants soon LOL

Yes DL! We have survived another PS summer. I am looking forward to hikes on “the bump and grind” and night hikes to the cross.

The mornings are beautiful. 70 degrees. Great for golf and hiking. I am getting back to exercise this week. Just in time!
And the monsoons are gone. Hallelujah.

Surfer girl truth be told the only way I get in the Salton Sea is if I fell out of a boat
The Corvina are all gone. Even though it was gross water it was fantastic as a fishery for quite a few years.
Salt content is so high now it is useless for anything.
