Everyone needs to stop with the FBI investigation nonsense.
Any alleged assault is a State issue. The accused could have if within the Statute of limitations could walk into a local police department and file a charge. It would be up to that jurisdiction to investigate the veracity of HER claim.
This is a Supreme Court nomination which the Constitution clearly gives the Senate (legislative branch) the authority to advise and consent to a president's candidate. The FBI is an Executive department and has no standing here.
This is a Senate process. They make the rules. She should show up, present her case, allow him to present his case, then vote, one way or the other.
