Over...low 50s
They won 35 last year. But if you look closer they were 31-36 before the team was ravaged by late season injuries and basically took their foot off the gas and looked to play young guys and improve lottery chances.
I like Rondo starting and ball off the bench. Ingram will see the biggest change this season, would not be surprised to see him average 20+ an garner all-star consideration...if he can stay healthy.

I'm guessing under; I see them as about a 46-48 win team, but they're so hard to peg. They're so strangely constructed from the typical LeBron formula (surround him with shooters, ideally shooters that can also defend and have the size & mobility to switch multiple positions.) That and they play in the bloodbath that is the western conference. If they were playing in the east, I'd take the over, but not by much.

As with any team, it's being lucky and have a low amount of injuries, the serious ones.

UNDER... 42 Wins

Come on Angler that’s plain stupid. They won 35 last year. Are you a neophyte or something. Just started following Naismith’s great game? I respect the high 40s predictors, although they’re saying under, they’re calling for a 12–13 game improvement. But seven games? Idiocy.

50+ seems likely.
LBJ just don't coast even though he has mentioned how next year is when things will get going.

Poor coaching and management will contribute to another bad season.
The Lakers need to pick up some help.. Until things change, I'll be an under vote.

Over it is.... Thanks Dookie

There's still one open roster spot that I believe Magic and Pelinka are waiting to sign a good back up center since that's the one position that's still weak. Zubac isn't a great back up and not sure they want to play McGee a lot of minutes.
Then again, the Lakers will play positionless ball that's the trademark of Kerr and now Walton....

I think it is difficult to tell what they will be right now.
If they end up with the formula in Cleveland where Lebron had to handle the ball almost all of the time and either create a shot for himself or some other player then I think it will be hard for the Lakers to get over the 48 games.
If they end up with more of a Golden State offense where the ball moves and at least part of the time other players create opportunities for themselves and Lebron then I think they will make it to 50 or more wins.
It will take a few games for a clear picture to emerge.

bron is touching his lil peen right now with a few of the yng laker players...get another star next year and they could be contending for awhile

Well, there goes 82-0. There’s always next year.

I will take the under on 48 wins.
|

Lakers 0-2
But I will have to give the Lakers the nod in the little brawl.. Go Lakers.
