much prefer a marathon/prevost 45'
those are BA
Nope my houses are way better than a van/sprinter
How many houses huuuuge?
I would totally see OP in her van.
And fuck the OC. Nothing but land maggots live there.
I'd buy a 24 ft travel trailer and a auto to tow it.
I live in a van down by the river.
It’s a nice idea but I like bubble baths.
And getting dressed inside of a vehicle/living out of a suitcase sucks.
<3
OMGava, come live with me . We can bathe in the river.
hudson river ?
try a tiny home instead :-)
Someone has grown too accustomed to wet wipe baths..............
@Grumpy you can’t have a bubble bath in a river.
NY, especially Manhattan, is a lovely place to live- IMHO.
I’m sure you were/are no stranger to exorbitant rent!
That mofo lives in the I.E. his rent is 250 a month and a case of Dos Equis!

People that live in vans want women with lotion on its skin or else they'll get the hose again.
I did hear there is a rent strike going on in LA maybe it will come that way.
Prop 10 anyone?

No joke but if you go to Marina Del Rey, Play del Rey and Venice you'll see lots of RV's just parked along the side of the roads. I laughed once or twice, but except for the not getting laid part if I were a young professional that would be extremely practical to save money. If you have a gym nearby and have access to electric scooters and Uber then you are kind of set. It's a thing to do. Maybe in a few more years it'll be hipster approved.

Parking, moving them for street sweeping days, trash, and dumping the gray and black water are the main obstacles. Other than that, you have neighbors you can visit day or night that haven't worked in 10 years. Talk politics. Play cards. Very urban life-style.
I know lots of people do this - its great. only downside you can keep as much stuff with you
Guy I all know have beach front parking every summer
some do it alone others do it as a couple
Come be neighbors with me and Grumpy.
Only if you were living in there with me, OP.
That is Tiny living! It works if it's just you and you can get a good spot to park. Get a little 24 footer RV and park at a RV park and save money. Wait until the housing market crashes and then buy a home.
Or move to another state and buy a stater home for like 30 k and have a house payment of only 400.
buy a house outside of California
See what happens when you're credit history is horrendous from poor choices? You have to live in a van down by the river.
It can’t be a rv or tinyhome. Needs to be discreet in OC. #vanlife

Now that I’m down sizing, I realized I’m eally a hoarder. Too much crap. I have a few storages as big as garages with practically new TJ max home goods stuff. Puke. I’m changing my ways. I’m so much more mature now from 5-10 years ago. Not complaining with stuff that I have or the house that I’ve sold, but alI I want now is what matters—Simple life and vibrant health.
I’m loving the hybrid car and living as a minimalist tho, but so much to still unlearn.
yup, you're ready for the van life
Try out Slab City, Ca.
A couple months back I had a thought about renting an Windstream RV and renting it out, after one was parked on my street. I know in Silicon Valley they used to sleep in their cars and cubby to stack paper so they can buy.

You need to keep your table and massage stuff though, where's it gonna go?

This sounds really appealing!

OMG... this is my plans for 2019... and taking it on the road... new concept of mobile massage! Can’t do it on the island, I can only do this here on the mainland.

Sounds fun... people seem to like it

This is for Milk and Honey. You look too young to remember Silence of the Lambs!
