In my wild 20's I remember delusional drunken thoughts of beings discovered one day by a talent agent. Tawdry neon lights lined the outside of my karaoke bar I regularly frequented. Every time I went on stage in my drunken state, my ears heard the voice of a beautiful siren, capable of calling sailors out to sea. In my sobriety, karaoke is a rude awakening. The only mythical creature my voice resembles is that of a screaming banshee. Any funny rude awakening, due to beer goggles, etc.. from anyone brave enough to share?
