Most of our forefathers came here LEGALLY. They either came to America BEFORE immigration laws even existed or they came through Ellis Island and applied for citizenship.
I am not against immigration (nor are most of the Trump supporters), but I would like to see it done legally. I understand there are lots of people who feel sorry for neighbors to the south who are in poverty and dealing with crime and oppression.
We currently have about 330 million people in the U.S. I keep asking my friends on the left how many people do you want to let in? If we use the 'sympathy'approach, I bet there are lots of people in the world that would love to come here.
The following are the populations as of now:
China - 1.4 billion
India - 1.3 billion
Africa - 1.3 billion
South America 425 million
That totals 4.425 billion people
So let's allow the poorest 10% of each of these populations (because we really care about helping them)....that totals 442.5 million people, more than the entire population of the U.S.
Or take 10% of the total 7.6 billion people in the world and we more that double the entire population of the U.S. Even at 5% of the world, we would be letting in more than our entire population.
So tell me who and how many???

This is a joke - When the German Chancellor was visiting India she noticed people crouched behind bushes pooping. She asked the Indian President about this and understandably he was really embarrassed. When the Indian President was getting a tour in Germany he was desperate to get back at the German Chancellor. He was looking and looking and no one was pooping outside. Very disappointment he suddenly noticed one man behind a bush pooping, he jumped up and said look, look there is a man pooping.
