do you have a moving company?
I have used Yelp alot for all of my labor and service needs.
AP: I'm with you on the hating moving thing. Yelp is always a great resource.
More importantly, what area are you relocating to?
A moving company is the way to go. Especially in heat like this.
^nice process
You do know that there are day laborers at u-haul as well.
hate moving but its kinda fun unpacking and putting all your stuff into a new place. Good luck on your move. Don't wait until last minute to pack like I do. Its horrendous
No way! Packing is hell lol
Renting a uhaul only to rip tire in the middle of the street is the funnest activity ever!
I've used movers a couple times but I don't remember the company, I found them online. It was around $280-340 before tip for two guys, their own huge truck and they gave you like 2-3 hours. I wasn't moving that much furniture though, not sure how much it would be for a bigger move. Can't stand renting a uhaul its such a pain in the ass.
@Rent you'd probably just throw all your shit away instead of moving it
You're not tolerant enough to have a garage sale lol

I don't hotel hop honey. I have my own place But both of those spots sure are accommodating when I travel.

I just moved, go on Yelp and search for movers. Get a couple of quotes. Best money I ever spent (except for an hr with nila). ~$300 for a couple of hours. Just get things packed before they come, you want them to spend the time moving boxes and furniture, not helping you pack
A real mover,
2 or 3 guys, truck, padding, equipment like refrigerator dolly...
Rates are state-regulated.
Looking for casual help?
Probably at U-Haul. No need to go to Home Depot.
Pack everything, label label label boxes.
U-Haul rates don't include mileage. $1/mi

4. call ICE on day laborers, save money and MAGA
^ brilliant
LACG, can we see your ID or papers? Just askin...
Move the small and important stuff yourself. Leave the big items to the moving crew or the hired help.
I moved to this house over twenty years ago and promised myself I'd never move again.
^ smart
I used Yelp the last time, lots of reviews so you can choose the right company for you.
Only moved the large items and it was done in 4 hours.
Last time I moved, I did the PODS thing. Had a two - you get them for like a month - took my time loading & unloading. They pick up and drop off. Simple.
If you do the uhaul/ mover route, play with the timing if you can. You should be able to get a better pricing in the middle of the month.

I considered having family help but I don't want the questions about the buzzing boxes....
friends help you move. real friends help you move bodies.
Just hire a bunch of day workers that hang out around Home Depot..
Real friends don't ask you to help them move.
I'm dying at the buzzing boxes comment cuz I knows AP and wut dat mean!
Me: "I'm thinking of moving."
SO: "Oh, where are we moving?"
Me: "What's this 'we' shit?"
Ugh. Is motivation though!

Moving and Heat, don't mix
