I would suggest you go rent a "BIRD" scooter and you should check out the night life at these locations:
SFV - The Intersection of Devonshire and Reseda.
City of Paramount - The Intersection of Garfield and Rosecrans. The City was named after Paramount studios.
City of Hollywood - The Intersection of Hollywood and Highland.

Hey Hime what was Culver City called back in the day before Spain owned California . You know before the 16th Century and all?
|
|
Spain came to CA in the 18th century you nimrod.
but before the Spaniards came, it was known as the Howard Hugh's Smokin BBQ Hut.
|
|
Fun fact... Nimrod is a biblical figure who was a mighty hunter. It was not until 1940, when Bugs Bunny sarcastically referred to Elmer Fudd as a Nimrod, that the meaning changed to idiot.
|
|
Himes knew Nimrod personally.

Hey Hime;
You need new glasses or as you called them when they were invented: Spectacles.
I said the following: "before Spain owned California . You know before the 16th Century and all?
Spain took over in 1542 so taken into account how old you are what does it matter give or take 42 years since you did know Nimrod.

European exploration
A 1562 map of the Americas, which applied the name California for the first time.
California was the name given to a mythical island populated only by beautiful Amazon warriors, as depicted in Greek myths, using gold tools and weapons in the popular early 16th-century romance novel Las Sergas de Esplandián (The Adventures of Esplandián) by Spanish author Garci RodrÃguez de Montalvo. This popular Spanish fantasy was printed in several editions with the earliest surviving edition published about 1510. In exploring Baja California the earliest explorers thought the Baja California peninsula was an island and applied the name California to it.
Mapmakers started using the name "California" to label the unexplored territory on the North American west coast.
European explorers flying the flags of Spain and of England explored the Pacific Coast of California beginning in the mid-16th century. Francisco de Ulloa explored the west coast of present-day Mexico including the Gulf of California, proving that Baja California was a peninsula, but in spite of his discoveries the myth persisted in European circles that California was an island.
