Yes, The Rock church purchased the property I guess in hopes of "saving" the girls who work at the strip club 12 feet away, Les Girls.
Any HX girls who work at Les Girls?

Worked there for AG the owner who then opened another bar club where Rubios is in Rosecrans and Midway ! In the early 90 Mike Gilardi tried to
Buy him out and I quit to work with Cheetas ! AG passed away and at one time tried to buy the property of Les Girl and Body Shop! For years he hung out at Tony's in OB ! We also ran the Alley Cat strip bar back behind the Midway Post office that was run by a son from the family who owned the Cotton Patch Restaurant and Boil Weevil! Which was across the street from the old Chuck Wagon who's family ran 4 strip clubs downtown San Diego
By Horton Plaza ! I ran 2 ! And that's a fact jack !

I think we're talking about the wrong Body Shop!
The Hollywood strip one is alive and well! This article is for the one in San Diego that I didn't know existed.

I am talking about the one in San Diego. Hence why I posted about it on the San Diego boards and why I posted an article from the SD Union-Tribune.
