the original ruling was upheld because of the individual mandate. But last year congress removed that indvidual mandate garbaged that forced you to buy insurance or pay a tax for not having insurance. Since the individual mandate was what allowed Obama Care to function and it was no longer apart of Obama Care. The judge ruled it unconstitutional
Roberts upheld it because it was a tax (individual mandate) even though Obama and ChAncy said it wasn't a tax. You See you can say anything and that doesn't change the spirit of the law or executive order ... That was Roberts thinking. A lot like when Trump said all the things he said about the travel ban, Just because he called it a muslim ban it didn't mean he was banning all muslims... On the contrary muslims are coming into the country all the time even though Trumps executive order has been called a muslim ban, they just aren't coming from certain countries as freely as they were before.
The Texas case may well make it to the Supreme Court. It seems like it’s almost set up for that. I don’t think the issue is before the 9th circuit. We will see.

I said write laws not make laws. Congress just signs things into law without ever reading them just like how you write responses to comments without reading them.
@Picourge last I checked VA coverage is not all that great. I remember my dad went to the VA to have an arthroscopic foot surgery done. The VA botched the simple procedure and ended up amputating have my dad's foot.
Insurance companies are entitled to federal compensation for subsidy payments under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This must be paid by the Gov which is you, the taxpayer.
