Screw

as he should
only people that go thru the rigorous backround checks can own automatic weapons and other cl 3 devices, ie short barrel rifles, suppressors, and other destructive devices
that's federal law

I think it's a Great no matter who signs it into law! What is Fox Opinion saying about it?

Bump stocks don’t make it automatic...
They’re worthless. A gimmick for dummies at the range
The speed gained sacrifices accuracy.
True shooters don’t use them or want them..
I don’t think anyone will really be up in arms about this except maybe those who sold it/ lose profits

The NRA is pissed.
Kind of shows Trump is willing to piss people off but also does stuff that needs to be done.
NRA is here to protect all gun rights, even the lame bump stocks..
NRA is always pissed...who cares anymore
I care and have a membership, but I don't care about bump stocks..
Uses kinetic energy and momentum
but they were all illegal,, ship them back..

This is bullshit! I should be able to own a tankjet!

You had to buy one before the deadline..

"I don’t think anyone will really be up in arms about this except maybe those who sold it/ lose profits"
... or those of us who are against it on principle. Give the left an inch on gun control, and they'll take a mile. Just look at any 'gun-controlled' war zone in the mid-west.
once the law goes into effect, all of them must be turned in to LE or destroyed
so you lose your money period

When you say "Bump Stock", I assume the OP is crying that he won't get buttfucked tonight.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand the bump stocks really is nothing more than a useless accessory, used once for shits and giggles. It has no tactical purpose. In fact its use in vegas by Paddock possibly saved lives because there is no real way to be accurate while aiming with such a device. No one will really miss these not being availble.
The other thing that's good is the fact, that its Trump that is banning them. This takes away alot of the steam away from the democrats coming up with new federal gun control laws. They can't use bump stocks as a pretense for new laws.
What I don't like is the straight up confiscation of the device for those who already have them. Even when they banned full auto weapons they still had a clause allowing people who already possessed those weapons to keep them.

The fact remains, there are way too many stupid fucking idiots who have guns. I see no need to sell something like this for idiots to continue fuck up.

What about the GATs? I saw these at the Pomona gun show 35 years ago. I should have brought a couple.

I can readily understand how bump stocks are not welcomed by true shooters because they cause accuracy issues. That loss of accuracy could be very problematic if you are shooting at one person from distance.
If you are shooting at a group of people standing elbow to elbow in a 10' x 10' square at a concert is the loss of accuracy going to be as much of a problem?
that's your problem right there @Stumpy and @Hime_Soul. why would you assume just because someone owns guns or owns bump stocks that there intent is to kill somone or to commit mass murder???
Maybe that is your mindset if you guys were to own guns. For the rest of us law abiding gun owners we don't feel that way at all.

Lamar those are cool, but i'm pretty sure they're unavailable in California...

Funny comment above about bumpstocks: “No one uses them seriously”
Tell that to the 58 people killed and 400+ wounded in Las Vegas by somebody using a bumpstock.
I take it back. The comment wasn’t funny, it was fucking stupid.
Also keep in mind that it was the Obama administration that approved the sale of bump stocks. The company that makes them never thought they would be approved and were amazed when the Obama ATF approved them for sale. So much for Democrats supporting sensible gun laws!
Obama is fuckin cool.
Whatever side freed the bump stocks.
I don't want one, so fuck em.
Bump stocks may decrease accuracy, but that is a poor argument for keeping them.
Full auto weapons are not about accuracy either - they are about spraying bullets as quickly as possible, and THAT is the idea behind the bump stock.
Accuracy not so important when shooting the maximum number of rounds per second into a crowded mass of people.
I am a supporter of 2nd Amendment rights, but I am fine with the banning of bump stocks.
^^Ban AP her typing and words are all over the place.
Anyway, what most people don't realize that, the shooter or shooters in vegas, would have had a much higher kill count if they did'nt use bump stocks, and simply would have just aimed and shot the gun regularly..
Yes. But if a school shooter made into an auditorium, he might be able to win the record for most deaths in a school shooting with a few good bump stocks. Especially if the children were packed together.
not really because he will empty his magazine in seconds. and he will have to reload. giving someone a chance to stop him

Guns don't kill people....................my primo Chato does.
