Because of the electoral college system, it comes down to whether or not certain states are ready for a woman in the white house. Californians clearly don't have an issue with it, but if Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa don't want a female president, than the Democrats can't afford to take the risk in the next election.

I think we will have a female President at some point, I don't think it will be Kamala Harris, but if the last two years have proved anything it is that we can withstand having a moody bitch that is prone to temper tantrums in the White House.
What has she done? Well for one thing she helped spearhead legislation that drastically limits how or if sites like this operate.

I mean, I know most politicians are shady. But she's worse than most because her whole campaign is based on the claim that she doesn't take money from special interest groups.
Until we get campaign finance reform, taking money from special interest groups is necessary to get elected. So just be honest about it instead of lying, getting elected, and then endorsing policies that favor the groups who put you in office.

I don't think the Dems should choose a woman candidate this time.I actually think if they do, they will loose gain to either Trump or even to Pence if he takes over before the 2020 election. I know they say this is the year of the woman. It didn't work last time, Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result if the definition of insanity.I think they need to try a different guy this time. Maybe put a woman as vice president. Don't get me wrong, I am all for a woman being President. I just don't think now is the time in the ear of Trump.
