I do. I even try to make small talk sometimes if it appears we have in common. Most of the time I get a canned response. Which leads me to believe some of you ladies don't always read our PM. I get it though, you are probably flooded with messages.

I knew a retired smuggler who claimed he made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. He once told me the story about how he met his wife. A Jedi Knight (on the run from the empire) and his hotshot pilot trainee hired my buddy to help break this rich bitch out of jail.
The knight runs into the warden, who turned out to be a former student. They get into a fight to the death! The knight ends up stepping on his own Jedi Mine. He instantly turned into a ghost and ended up haunting the trainee the rest of his life. Long story short, it turns out that his wife and the trainee were brother and sister who never knew about each other... and, get this, the warden was their father. I think he was full of shit, but some folks swear it really happened that way.

Maybe Iβm old school, but Iβve found it helpful to read the profile and the ads, as they can give clues to the personality and if itβs a managed account.

Reading a girlβs profile helps me figure out if we may have some chemistry. Pictures are important, but Iβm also influenced by what you share in your profile.

Absolutely. I miss the days of troothsayer so you coukd get more detailed information. Also moss the days of easily PM'g for info. Too difficult nowadays to get legit info so my activity is way way down.

Not only do I read profiles, I do credit and background checks too. If warranted, I'll do a check with my friends in blue, the FIB, and Intrapool. Can never be too careful these days.
And when I ran Dirty Commie Cat, well let's just say the comrade wasn't the cleanest cat in the litter. Something about "Party cat" and "rather Red than dead." Oh, and "MAGA!"
