I always meet for coffee first... mutual chemistry is important
Add cinnamon sticks to the grounds before brewing.
@gilbert i will actually try that, thanks!
Always grind your own beans, never refrigerate or freeze them.
i really should
Also a pinch of salt reduces the acidity. Don’t believe me, ask Alton Brown.
salt in coffee is one i haven't heard before
but i have himalayan salt in my cupboard
Never touch the stuff
Coke is my poison, sometimes a cream soda or an egg cream
I keep a big bag of beans in the freezer and grind only the one pot's worth per morning.
What's the downside of freezing the beans?
Make the coffee alkaline, OP. Keto coffee for anti-aging and staying less acidic.
coffee enema's for those so inclined !

@facephukker I was waiting for that

A French press anyone? Gets one deeply involved in the process. And the coffee can be flavorful with the right beans. Still searching for the right ones.
Cuban and Panama coffee is da bomb and both low in acid.
Blu, just buy it at Albertsons
The water is important too. One of the best for it is Arrowhead Mountain Spring water. It's in the sweet spot of mineral content - too little is bad so reverse osmosis water isn't right, and too much is equally bad.
I know it sounds crazy, but experiment a little and you can make your own observations. I was a skeptic when I read about it.
French press is my go-to recommendation and usually provides excellent results.

i have tried a few but they have all had their own downfalls, still looking for a good one also
for now, i love my keurig

I love coffee!!
In the morning always.
Freezing beans supposedly messes with the “fresh oils” so I’ve heard. But have no proof.
I’m an espresso guy. Never freeze my espresso beans. Grind fresh every morning. Four shots with steamed milk and I’m good for the day
American coffee isn’t my thing.
Java Java java
