Lou, presidents aren't allowed to take things from foreign dignitaries so every time one of them pays for a room at a Tramp hotel, it's a potential violation of the law...worthy of an oversight look and asking questions.
The fact that Tramp won't release his tax returns is suspicious since EVERY president since King Kufu of Egypt has willingly done so for transparency. And the reasons he says he won't have been half-baked.
Tramp has told so many lies (per Cohen) and half truths that the oversight committee has a right to get to the truth of what he's said.
And finally, it isn't just harassment. Hell, even Richard Nixon agrees, ""The American people have a right to know if their President is a crook." And who can disagree with tricky.

In his first midterm, Bill Clinton lost 60 total seats, 52 House and 8 Senate.
In his first midterm Barrack Obama lost 69 seats, 63 hour and 6 Senate.
Trump lost 26 House, but gained 3 Senate. So if that is a blue wave, then Obama faced a Red Tsunami.
Further, there were 26 Republicans who retired compared to 8 Democrats. That 26 is the 5th largest number of retirements by either party since 1974. So that 26 house seat gain might have been far less if equal numbers of retirement.
So is was really more of a blue trickle, but hey, don't let facts get in the way of the bullshit narrative.

The seat losses are fact. Trump did far better than either Clinton or Obama in their first mid terms.
The OP said a blue wave. I was merely pointing out facts (oh that's right, not let those things get in the way of your crazy narrative). 26 house seats but a net loss of only 23 (with 3 Senate seat gains) was not a blue wave or we would have called what happened to Clinton or Obama a Red Tsunami.
The Dems probably benefited from the woman card, but if the Dems were so popular and overwhelmingly supported by the American people, they would have had a far better showing than net 23.
But of course, people who don't have facts on their side resort to name calling and stupid comments about cologne. Dude, you are a real idiot, so you might opt to keep your mouth shut rather than proving to the world how stupid you really are.
