“Hello world”. I remember the days when this site was like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. Codemonkey was ever helpful w coding or tech help. Hope he’s tap dancing up in the sky on a giant keyboard much like Tom Hanks in the movie Big.
One of the giants has fallen. Kind words, and he's earned them all, and more. I never bumped into him out in the world; but if I had, I'd would have been honored to shake his hand...
He's coding with Allen and Jobs now. Probably blowing their minds...

I met him at one of my gatherings and we hit it off.
Back in the day when there were only like 40 guys on the site and we would all meet for lunch at the German place in Anaheim or dinner / drinks at the dive bar where I first met a bunch of you mongers!
I spoke with him about a year or so ago and he indicated he wasnt doing so well.
I am sorry to hear he is no longer with us, he WAS a class act and ready to jump in and help just because.
Didn't know the guy but sounds like the type of guy others should strive to be like in here. For him to have made such an impact in here goes to show that having respect, appreciation, and a helpful attitude towards others goes a long way.
I knew him from the beginning of time. 🐒He was a great guy in so many ways. Respectful, sweet and always gentleman. He was very low key and very modest about what he did which one of the things I adored him for. I love you code 🐵.....He does not have to be in pain no longer🙏
