It would be easy to confuse the federally-mandated "safe" level with an actual safe level based on human biology.
There IS no safe level of glyphosate ingestion.
The numbers suggesting how much one can consume with "approved" risk levels were negotiated between Monsanto lobbyists and federal agencies with an agenda of "let's just get SOMETHING on paper" in an era of limited opportunity to make a real difference in public safety.
