Elizabeth Warren said today that if she were elected president, she would break up the big tech companies, including Amazon, Google, and Facebook. She would appoint federal monitors to oversee it all. Is she kidding?

But in a way the tech industries are becoming another government unto themselves. In many respects they also control the information we receive. They are becoming a main vehicle of the surveillance of the American people. I am not saying Warren is right but something to consider

I remember back in the 90s Microsoft got anti trust violations by the US Gov.
If that hadn’t happened we might not have the google and Facebook today.
