i think good thing for them....too much risk with that money and attitude...new QB coming within two years
they got some picks in deep draft...made a great trade for OL dumping some salary to boot
the OL will free up barkley and keep manning upright
they have good receivers and could add one
as boys fan...not that happy with the smart moves they are making

things changed the following year after the signing
as a boys fan love the cap hit they have to eat, but they are making good decisions...hate the fact they are rectifying that OL....always something we could bank on the past few years

They opened at 30/1 in mid-January, but now sit at 14/1 following the OBJ trade. They opened at 10/1 to win the AFC title, and now sit at 7/1.

Giants got a new general manager and head coach last year. Maybe they needed some time to figure out what the plan was instead of just coming in fresh last year and deciding we're gong to blow everything up. Now they've been on the the job for a year and can make more insightful decisions on what they want to do.
