Lets Boil it down to thisthe the basics...the GOP wants to stop or limit all immigration unless its from Europe because it wants to stop the browning of America. They are trying to preserve White Majority Rule...screw diversity. The Democrats flourish in a more diverse voter base, i.e. Urban Population centers.

America was founded by immigrants, from Europe, many whom when they came were penniless and flourished with the American Dream. They helped build the America of today. So should we have turned back boatloads of Irish and Italians back then coming in through Ellis Island??? Or had a naval blockade to turn back the "invading" Armada of immigrant ships??? America is better when its more diverse!!
