The Rifle
The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of it's own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes. But there are more good men than evil, and while the latter can not be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.

With a revolver and 3 speed loaders, I can shoot 24 center mass hits in less that 2 minutes.
So controlling extreme guns isn't the answer.

MUNK, you're right... can't stop all violence. Doesn't mean we can't try to control the one common factor in the other 307 mass shooting in the last year. It's a stupid argument really. It's the same as saying that since people still through trash on the street we should stop putting out trashcans. Or any of the other potential arguments of 'if you can fix all of it, you shouldn't fix any of it' Dumb logic.
And it's really tough to KILL 11 people with a knife.
