By law it is the 4th Thursday in November. This year the first Thursday was Nov 1, so here we are.

The law was changed in FDR’s time to provide a longer shopping season before Xmas.

By the law when am I allowed to put up my Christmas Tree?
Soon Christmas trees will be illegal. But you can put up a holiday tree if use a full term aborted fetus as a tree topper instead of an angel.
I will use a recycled tree from the Home Depot dumpster and decorate it with Red Trolley Ale bottles, blue Moon bottles, green rolling rock bottles and top the tree with a ring of Iron City beer cans to honor the once great Steelers.

How high do you want the dung piled?
granite, and only 5' high
don't want to seem too austentatious
5' of dung is downright Trampian...goes well with the gold toilet
you want to be buried in 5' of dung
any preference, cow or cat

1926, President Calvin Coolidge received a raccoon as a Thanksgiving dinner gift. But Coolidge saw the friendly young creature and decided it would make a much better pet. In the 1920s, though, a feast of Thanksgiving raccoon would not seem as weird as it does today. Wild foods including roast raccoon and opossum were considered regional specialties, and many wildlife species were served on the menus of the country's finest restaurants.
