Do any of you even pay attention? Trump was given a plan to strike key locations in Iran. Trump asked how many would die and he was told 150. Trump then orders no strike and says he doesn't wanna slaughter people over a drone and instead increases some sanctions.

I am no lover of Don the Con, and have not been since the 1980s, but he got this one right. - So far, at least.
The point of retaliation is to give a proportional response, to show you will not be pushed around without consequences.
At the same time, you are not raising the stakes higher and higher until you are actually in a serious war neither side wanted, but feels they were pushed into.

The Iranians are being very careful with their actions. Drone not manned aircraft. When attacking ships, it is ally ships not ours.
The economic sanctions are just killing them and they are hoping to get our allies to cave. We have some weak ass countries who say they are allies, but are unwilling to feel a little discomfort. Shut off sales of all Iranian oil and that country is toast in 6 months.

I would rather see a UN investigation before action. I don't believe trumpy to tell the truth even if the drone was in Iran air space. When have we ever admitted venturing over other countries air space(illegaly)? Isn't that the idea of a drone, especially as high as it was.
