Thank you !

Yes, we paid 28 cents per gallon tax in 2016 and will be paying 47.3 cents on July 1. Of course, it will continue to go up annually based upon the California Consumer Price Index.
The fastrip on Arlington in Riverside is selling gas for $3.43. about a dime less than other gas stations.
And close to home.
As of today, the national price of gas is $2.72 and here in Taxifornia, our average price is $3.75 and will go up even more tomorrow.
Wake up Californians, you are paying more than anyone in the country for gas and for lots of other things....and are being taxed for anything and everything. In every tax category we are in the top 10.....
If tax is 47 cents why the gas price is over 1 $ higher than national average? Lol because not only Govt is screwing us the Oil companies are biggest culprits here by their price manipulation when they do “Scheduled maintenance “ in middle of busiest season to shut down the refineries lol we are getting screwed by all
So drive hybrid or electric
We also have a 'special blend' here.
There is a 'clean burning fuel' requirement that adds 10 cents
There is a low carbon fuel source requirement that adds 4 cents.
Don't forget that Cap and Trade requirement in CA that adds another 12 cents.
There are local sales taxes another 3-4 cents
Don't forget the underground storage tank state fee of 2 cents
This state is amazing....they figure out a million ways to reach into our pockets and take our money.....
The average oil company makes only about 6-7% profit margin....Pharmaceuticals make 17%....so don't piss on the oil companies....they are not the ones driving the cost of gas through the roof here....our state puts all these regulations in place that drive up the refining cost for CA gas.
tax will be 60 cents gal tomorrow and backround checks for ammo sales take effect too
Agree on state ripping us off I do not agree with some of their policies as well but I do believe oil companies ripping off Californians for being Blue state I travel to Utah for work a lot they have almost 50 cents per gallon tax but Gas price are around $ 2.60 /gallon
Also you’re telling me when the oil was $150 a barrel we were paying $5 a gallon for gas and now the price of oil is $50 a barrel we are paying $ 4 dollar gas just because If all these taxes ??
kkkalifornia in all it's wisdom made us endure their so called summer blend, which the oil companies charge more for
the rest of the country doesn't have to endure he craziness of this state
under the table economy paying some tax...i am ok with it on some levels
problem is money gets wasted
how's that train to going?
Now you are telling me summer blend cost more and price goes up ???? Tell me when you have seen when winter blend comes price GOES DOWN???? Give me break price goes up no matter its summer blend or winter blend it’s just a reason to price manipulation and gouging that is beyond understanding.......
“under the table economy paying some tax...i am ok with it on some levels
problem is money gets wasted”
+1 for that glad we are on same page it’s should apply to All Govt
Now can we star how manny millions Tax payers are wasting on Trumps golf trips which he criticized Obama for ? to Mar-lago which we taxpayers are paying millions every time he goes there to play to Trump hotel ? Do you know few days ago he flew from London to Ireland just to play golf and promote his Golf course on tax payers dime costing us millions ???
I am not even counting that 300 million dollar drone just blown in seconds by Iran and 800 billion defense budget lol how is that going ???
There are lot of ways to waste money and both parties are doing their best

Californians voted for this tax. Jerry Brown ran all those deceitful commercials saying a bridge is going to fall on you.
It does go up and down with the Summer Blend. Democrats are the problem. How else do you expect them to give illegals free Medicine while the addicted Americans sleep on the sidewalks of our cities ?
Well, that was a horrible example.
The Maasai tribe of Africa drink the blood of their cows. I feel like these California politicians are the Maasai tribe, I'm the cow and my tax money is the blood.

To all the young whippersnappers who posted above:
When I moved to California in 1973 gasoline was $.39/gallon, new one bedroom condos cost $24,000 and a ticket on PSA for the flight from San Diego to Los Angeles was $8 including the stewardesses wearing shorts at no extra charge.
Inflation ... Get used to it.
Not only gas , dmv fees have gone up 10% or more than last year on my car and motorcycle.
first jerry and now son of jerry gavin newsome, screw taxafornia
In 1973 the complex across from the Fedco on Rodeo & La Cienaga was selling condos for $13,000. I should have bought a couple and rented them out. Maybe better I didn't because I really had a shitty experience being a landlord when I rented out my condo in 2003.
I heard some of you Right wingers saying if we don’t like America go to other country
Now if you don’t like California why don’t you go to New Mexico or Texas ? Hahaha
A lot of my friends are. Tennessee as well.
It went up higher than that, the tax is taxed with sales tax so add another 9.5% here in Los Angeles...
Fun how we pay sales tax on federal and state gas taxes probably other fees from the state and feds added into the gas price also before being taxed again....
Here goes the complaining, but half y'all voted for it. Hope you all get your streets fixed.
TX last week was $2.49/gallon regular (some places even a little cheaper). And if you showed them a red neck, you got a $0.20 discount. MAGA!
Well kkkalifornia is now $3.99 gal for regular
Thank you to everyone that voted yes on prop 6.
Vote YES on Prop 6 to repeal the Car and Gas Tax. If you voted yes you voted against the tax.
Don't tell me moon beam was deceitful?
How about that bullet train?
