I don't get why this is a thing. Nobody died. I didn't even get out of bed and I bet I closer the point of origin than most of you. If no one in Ridgecrest died who really cares about a little ground shaking.

long rolling motion.

USGS says downgraded from a 7.1 to a 6.9, 10.56 miles north of Ridgecrest, 8:19 pm. I thought my dog got under my couch and was scratching herself vigorously and that's why my couch was bouncing. Then I saw my dog stroll by, LOL.
If these quakes keep coming, soon *I'LL be the one scratching myself vigorously...
