So a few people in a French bar and the British Ambassador make up the entire world...
The French are pissed that our soccer team beat them and that Trump is making them actually pay for NATO. We have bailed the French people out of how many wars? Those frogs would be speaking German if it wasn't for the U.S.
The Ambassador is entitled to his own opinion...doesn't necessarily represents the Prime Minister or any of the people who actually control what happens in Britain.

No one wants to trade with us? Do you read anything relevant or just headlines? The US is the largest consumer of goods in the world. We are pigs .. we have a voracious appetite for everything. This .. is what gives us leverage. Ask any company what happens to,them when they lose their biggest customer .. and what shit they will eat to make sure they retain them. The US ... is EVERYONE’S biggest customer. I suppose if you are a staunch nationalist or simply an adherent of jingoism, you don’t give a flying fuck what anybody else on the planet thinks of the US. Fine. Let that be your position.
But the fact is, like him or not, this president has done some remarkably stupid things from a strategic standpoint. For example, his strong focus on coal, a 20th century technology, will put us in a long term disadvantage while other countries are working on renewable energy sources and will dominate energy markets in the future.
Another example is the roll back on gas mileage for cars. It doesn’t benefit consumers. It doesn’t benefit auto makers. It doesn’t benefit air quality. It’s an all-around stupid idea.
He is correct that there are some significant trade issues with China, but once again, his strategy to deal with them is questionable at best. The pain inflicted on farmers and other US businesses by tariffs may drive many of them out of existence if this drags on too much longer.
His strategy on healthcare, oh wait, he doesn’t have a strategy.
I’m not foolish enough to think that any of this will change a single opinion here, so keep on sucking Trump’s dick if that what you really want.

Trumps policies (or lack thereof) will create long term damage to the majority of Americans. If you are being completely honest with yourself, you would be saying “I don’t give a fuck that Trump is taking America backwards. I just like the stuff he says.”

Across state lines coverage and exchanges.
More free market options.
Not tax a person who chooses not to have health insurance.
Not charge excessive premiums to some people so others can get the coverage for free.
NOT have universal health care or Medicare for all or Give free coverage to illegal immigrants
