Even weirder... other blogs from the site "helping" with crypto have disappeared as well...
like the one linked: "New to Cryptocurrency? No problem, click here to read up a little!"
Another BLOG NOT FOUND
Used to be you could just get a destination crypto address for HX and transfer crypto. That seems to have suddenly gone away.
I went to the FX points page and clicked to here:
https://www.humaniplex.com/membership/crypto/
But that takes me to some shady looking 3rd party site that requires that I enter my full name and email address. Yeah right. And even then, not sure what it will do with it--doesn't really say.
Don't see any notices or blogs from site about this.
Looks shady,

The third party site doesn’t look shady to me. And nothing says you have to put in your correct information.
If you want to be anonymous and buy FX points, go buy a Best Buy gift card (or any other from the list), and pay cash for it. Then follow the site’s link to put that data in.

Crypto is intended to be the anonymous way to buy FX--that is its reason for being and reason for the site preferring it. Until it seems a week or two ago.
And seems you agree on my other point--no info is provided about how the name or email will be used--so no, doesn't say it has to be true. Also doesn't say my payment won't fail and go into cyberspace if I don't give true info. Or why a crypto processor would need that info (hint: they do not need it, not at all).
Yes... looks very shady. And risky. And no notice from site about any of it.
so decided I don't need FX points that badly and site doesn't really want my funds. Maybe I need new shoes instead...

Looks like they have like a referral option for signing up with Coinbase, and as far as I understand Coinbase they do require ID verification. Coinbase is a wallet and crypto marketplace though, where you can buy and store Bitcoin/crypto... at least as far as I understand it, I could be wrong. That should be separate from the payment processor, which you should be able to pay using any crypto wallet I think. Coinbase is a legit site though.
I might be wrong about all of this lol. That's just my understanding of it.

"Looks shady"
omg you should leave the site asap. need help?

I see no issues.
You can transfer crypto or deposit thru atm. Just followed each link from the FX points screen.
The site asking you to transfer crypto doesnt validate your info just provides you with a QR code and address to send for coin deposit.
If you dont use your name or email the only risk (I assume) you take is not being able to follow up on any issues during the transfer.
As long as you're certain you're depositing the right coin to the right wallet, you should be ok.

Wow the moronity is strong here... guess I did not expect anything more...
Sure I have had a Coinbase account for years and am very familiar with cryptocurrency. I have bought many, many FX points with crypto since the site started accepting and was involved in the initial testing of HX crypto.
A few weeks, ago , it looks like the site totally changed how it handles crypto. The blogs that were helpful have been deleted. Even the link to info blog on the home page is now broken/dead.
None of this was mentioned anywhere--just another fumbled mess. (all this was stated above but seems most people post to blogs before reading... or thinking...).
So if you want to type in your personal info to an unknown web site that has no legit need for it, go ahead. If you are dumb enough to not think it is shady a site asks for personal info when not needed, by all means my warning isn't going to stop you. If it doesn't bother you that a site that takes as the highest sin revealing a member's personal info, is now asking for that... well you shills are so cute and not fooling anyone.

Its really not any different than the prior way they used to take crypto. Its just a few more clicks.
Just use a bogus email and name you derp. This actually is better because you get a confirmation email AND a support email in case the transfer goes awry. First one didnt have none of that.
