Roughly half the acceleration of a Tesla S.
can't afford the insurance.
I can👍 Chevrolet won't disclose a top speed😭
Starting around 60,000$
Tesla's are cool till the battery dies, an overgrown r/c car in my opinion

Average age of a Corvette owner is 61...
It takes that long to save up!
I like it... And nobody cares about Tesla S.
Well i for one will save my pennies for this one.
It'll look real nice in my garage next to my Breakout.
Like the car,Do not like the taillights.
In LOVE with it!!
Haha oh yes
One thing is for sure. It will never develop a Hemi Tick.
Oh Yeah 👍
For the money - you cant beat it.
Even with ALL the upgrades, performance package and supercharged...your still under 100k
I am a fan. I'm actually considering it but not until at least '21. Don't love it enough to pay for the markup as a early adopter and want too see what it really can do after some time in consumers hands. GM isn't exactly a benchmark for quality so there is some risk buying one of the first ones in fall.
Overall, I think they did a great job to entice buyers younger than 60.

Corvette owner here. Like the tech, design not so much. Nose looks a bit like an NSX. Hopefully the General does a wide body Z06 in 2021.
^^ Agree with Nut and Bolt above.

Takes more than acceleration and a mid-engine to be a supercar.
And don't expect it to top out at $100k. The ZR1 will probably be around $150K.
Cheers

Ready to get mine on order, lots of cool color combos to go with too!
GTO is awesome, I also own one
What does GTO stand for?
Gran Turismo Omologato ("grand tourer homologated")
I don't know what Pontiac intention was for the GTO name, but in car circles, GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omolgoto in Italian. Meaning, the car meets certain requirements to be able to race in certain production car racing series (homologation).
I am not aware of the Pontiac GTO being raced in any series back in the 60/70 so not sure what Pontiac intended with the GTO name. Regardless, it is such a badass car.
I bet googling the history of the car would come up with something.

or grand tranny orifice
They (Pontiac) raced it back in the days when road racing was popular but Chevy & ford dominated all of those series. Warren Johnson dominated pro/stock with a gto body till he retired, there is a team that run the gto at pikes peak...

I've chased several vettes ricers BMW's hot rods with it. 400 horse 2 door coupe never had any major issues it's a solid car Imo
Meh..... I like my corolla
I wouldn't have car that I would have to get down on my hands and knees to get behind the wheel.
I'd get on my hands and knees for a brand new vette. Might even swallow.
It still has a fiberglass body. When will GM learn. It looks good, and it's cheap, but if it has the same crappy build quality of all the previous Vettes, it won't sell well (except for the 65 and older crowd who still buy them for nostalgia).
Is "nostalgia" like a classy way of saying nalgas. Cause I would give my nalgas for a new vette.
Only 42 and just got my order in yesterday.
Honestly it looks like a mclaren
