Yeah he didn't come across super well in the first part of the morning, at least from what I saw. Once he warmed up he did a lot better.
In his defense though, he's trying to be very specific with his answers, and from what I saw the GOP were asking a number of questions about things that had nothing to do with the report, or in a way that was designed to try and get him to contradict himself. I can't blame him for wanting to be extremely specific, and make sure that what they were quoting actually did match what was in the report. I'd want to do the same thing if that were me in his position. Poor guy looks like he didn't sleep a wink last night. I haven't watched since the first half this morning tho, so I don't know what this afternoon's looked like.
I get what the Dems are trying to do here though. A lot of Americans haven't read the Mueller Report and have no idea that there's even anything bad in it, they just screech about Fusion GPS and then stop listening. The content is pretty damning though.

Bill Clinton and Al Gore promised they were going to punish China for human rights violations. Yet, they ended up giving China Preferential Trade Status. Trump has stepped up, and is trying to put the Chinese in check. Unfair trade dumping, and stealing intellectual property. Hilary would have knuckled to China.

Of course countries try to meddle in others elections. The world is much more connected economically than ever before for instance The US as well has been doing this for years. In fact we have gone so far as to overthrow governments whose election results we did not like. One problem that is a recent one is cyber security and what effect cyberattacks could have on election results themselves.

What we learned ( for the slow republicans), is that mueller indeed agreed that there was and currently is election meddling going on from foreign interference. That members of the trump administration met with Russians to discuss possibility of help, and the meddling was in favor of trump who won by handful of votes and who lost the popular vote. A lot of people from the trump campaign are already in jail for a lot of shady shit. I'd say we learned a lot.
And nice job proving that your line of Hillary getting help,from China was pure speculative bs.

Regardless of your opinions about Trump I think most people had to feel a little sorry for Mueller.
I did not see every minute of his testimony but the parts I did see and the live testimony I heard on the radio reminded me of a video of Reagan being questioned towards the end of his time in the White House regarding Iran Contra. It was apparent that Reagan was already feeling the effects of Alzheimer's. I got the same feeling watching Mueller today.
I don't know when Mueller's mental capacities started to slip but based upon his performance today I doubt that he actually wrote most of the report and was competent to review the wording to see that what he wanted to say was reflected in the report. Obviously if he knew he was on the downhill slope when he accepted the special prosecutor's role he should have declined the appointment.
However at this point none of us know when he started to slip.

mueller had a few decent exchanges where he seemed pretty normal or the material was extremely familiar and comfortable
there is no way in hell he wrote any of this stuff...he could not even read any of it and asked others to read it for him.
did he lead the investigation? maybe a figure head? probably why they got the asst to show last minute and postponed it.

This was really just all about getting Americans to listen to what is really in the report. Mueller was just sitting in the chair as a prop.
Highlights:
*** The report specifically says it does NOT exonerate Trump of criminal wrongdoing.
*** Trump Campaign Manager Manafort met with Russians and provided them with campaign polling and strategy information so they knew what message Trump's people wanted to get out and where they most wanted to get it out. I don't see how that is NOT conspiring with the Russians to have them in on the campaign, yet that was the report's conclusion - no conspiracy by the campaign in general.
*** Despite warnings from his own lawyer that going around telling people Mueller's investigation was a witch hunt and it should be ended could be seen as obstruction of justice, Trump did it anyway, on more than one occasion.
*** Repeated attempts to publicly undermine the credibility of the Mueller investigation could also be taken as evidence of obstruction of justice.
*** When Trump was informed that he personally was not being excluded in regards to possible Russia/campaign/conspiracy activities, he said "Oh my God! This is the end of my presidency! I'm fucked!" This type of statement is called an "excited utterance" and is taken as evidence of a guilty mind, one of the requirements for an obstruction of justice conviction.
Mueller's performance did seem a bit feeble at some points, but all this stuff was in the report itself.

It's pretty clear what happened here.
Mueller is old and feeble, but the public didn't know that. They recognized him and his name and found him credible. He was used as a straw man to front an operation to unseat a duly elected President of the United States.
Mueller had no control over this investigation. He had no control over the facts, did not interview witnesses, did not set the agenda, and still does not know the fact of the case, has no idea who Fusion GPS is, and cannot answer the most basic of questions. So who was driving this?
Andrew Weissman. Thus guy has a history and is a real crook. Look him up. He has been sanctioned by courts, and his modus operandi is to terrorize and humiliate his targets. His misconduct in the Enron case is heavily documented, destroying the company, and costing 4,500 Americans their jobs, benefits, and in many cases, their retirements.
Peter Strozk. He was fired by Mueller after his text messages about Trump were leaked.
Sure, I am a conservative and support President Trump...
But if you are a Socialist, Democrat, Progressive, etc., you should feel insulted. You were lied to from the beginning, and made to believe that they were going to "get Trump." He would be impeached and thrown from office in disgrace. But it was all based on a lie that they made up. Thy have had you believing that there was "salvation" for the past 2 years. And now, NOTHING. You should be insulted that you were lied to, you were used. And the Democrats don't care, that's what they do. Revolt against these corrupt people.
