Stay out of the water

Thats scary. Thanks for sharing.

Same as the ocean. Man eating sharks rarely come on land.

40 people have died from this "brain-eating" amoeba, Naegleria Fowleri.
You're at no risk in salt water; it's a fresh-water organism that infects people who enter warm-water rivers and lakes. It enters through the nose and bores into the brain.
If you're tempted to enjoy the local swimming spot, particularly in the U.S. South, wear nose clips.
Here's a link on the subject from the U.S. Center For Disease Control.

honestly was thinking whaat if they weren't after ur brain .... EW !
It happens a lot down south mostly in fresh water.
Same symptoms as signal meningitis?
Naegleria Fowleri would starve in Sacramento and SF.
And then there is this that the media is not reporting on.
Yes you do get all the news you deserve.

Crazy new amoebas I wonder is this an affect of global warming??????
Dude it’s obviously Trumps fault for pulling out of the Paris deal, like everything else you ramble about
INCURSION of the FLYING AMOEBAS!! nothing was the same after they went airborne........
Flew in on a meteor, that no one saw coming.
There are some people with zero risk of anything that eats brains.
I had all of the symptoms that OP mentioned and it turned out that I just crossed paths with a bad burrito.
Weird new bacteria, algae and amoebas very well could be a result of the changing climate.
If it isn't climate change, it is racist.
I am not sure I can come up with anything more 'overused', except maybe organic.
It has nothing to do with global warming. Amoebic diseases are as old as human settlement.

I blame The Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse.
