i read years ago around the time Starcraft Tournaments were big that hand eye coordination for gaming basically peaks around 15 yrs old. then its all down hill from there. all the best gamers and winners of tournaments were right around that age. and there was a shit ton of gamers from Korea that took it to a whole new level. gaming so long they'd just fall over and die from exhaustion or whatnot.

The real money isn’t even in tournaments.
It’s in creating online videos. The top players are making millions a year posting videos of their play on gaming websites. These guys not only get millions of views.... but the bigger sites have monthly subscription fees. It an entire economy that most of us over 30 are not aware of.

few making millions per year with youtube and other marketing contracts...some get paid 15% for creator contributions when the users buy stuff inside the game
fornite at one point last year was bringing in 350million a month for a free game to play
