A greatly admired man by bikers from around the world. I've seen Easy Rider so many times. I think it partly influenced me to do my ride across country 1976.
I loved his story "a beer for the deer" he told where he hit a deer and was almost killed, he will stop at a bar near the accident and have a beer for the deer.
Easy Rider star Peter Fonda is a man who loves motorcycles so it's not surprising that he has had more than one accident. In 1964, the wild man decided to wear nothing but a bathing suit and loafers for a ride on his Triumph. He hit a speed bump and went down. He suffered pretty serious injuries including bruises and broken bones but he recovered. In 1985, he got into another wreck. This time the injuries were more severe he broke his neck and back, causing him to lose a half inch of height after surgeries. That didn't stop the not-so-easy rider. In 1993, he had a head on collision with a deer, which did actually have some affect on his conduct. He says that accident stopped him riding after dark and without all his gear on.

worked with him once a couple of years ago, such a nice guy, we ended up talking for over an hour
waiting to hear about funeral arrangements, may be one for friends /bikers and small private one for family
yeah, too bad it just wasn't jane instead, no one would miss her nasty ass

Peter Fonda was one slick cat. Yeah I remember the 60's and 70'sd when he was a ladies dream and a mans idol. I am sorry for his loss like most of us. He smoked, he drank he partied, but he lived longer than many with the lifestyle of a celebrity.I am sure we will see a show of some sorts explaining some of his perosanl life. Jan was a HOTTIE in her time, but something went wrong with her carreer and I do not know what.
