iRent...Amen to that. My parents were both staunch Democrats when I was growing up. They have both passed, but they both moved to the Republican party saying the Democrats veered so far left, they were no longer on the road....

SF is Liberalism gone nuts. They are to the Democratic Left what the tin-foil-hat 'deep state' cranks are to the GOP Right. And calling the NRA terrorists is probably going too far.
But that doesn't make the NRA right, either.
Bump stocks are a perfect example. Bump stocks enable a semi-auto to fire at a rate faster than any human can actually pull a trigger, making a semi-auto weapon fire more like a full auto. It does nothing for accuracy and is really not needed for shooting targets, hunting game or for self-defense. It is just good for spraying rounds like a machine gun. In fact, that is the whole purpose of a bump stock - to get around the general ban on machine gun ownership by your average Joe.
When the NRA opposed the new ban on bump stocks, that is when I finally parted ways with them.
