espn has their sides they like to be on
don't know the whole story...AB's track record leans me the raider's way. calling your boss a cracker?
looks like raiders got off cheap...AB play's one game and raiders on hook for serious money
i am sure this is main part of the whole blow up....steelers are laughing their asses off
does he go to the browns? patriots? eagles? i am sure it will be for low money where ever
they say showing up on time with good attitude is 80 percent of life's success??? somebody said it???

Lol, I only feel sorry for AB in so far as he has serious mental health issues with a very distorted view of reality and his importance in it. Every issue he has had has been caused by his own actions, he's just unable to see that, and that's sorta sad.
His 10 year contract. Or is it 9 now?
Nobody should be on AB side. Team game.
I would want him on my team anyway though lol.
Raiders got fucked and they should have not gotten ride of that rookie. Will be fun to see them in Vegas.
And the fucker just signed with Patriots, ugh.
Only 10 million. Ring chasing like TO did.
Patriots it is. He be making less but still have dignity.
He leaves a 200k deficit w the raiders. No biggie.
I was excited to watch him tho. Jeeeeze. Sad now.

SixD, yup.
Asian Barbie is back?
Won't last for Patriots, Bill Belichick doesn't tolerate crazy behavior no matter how talented. Just ask Randy Moss.
AB is going to the Kellen Winslow trail...
Wish the NFL had Kapp’d the moron.
It’s a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with a $9 million signing bonus.
not bad money considering the shit show....sure he would rather be on the patriots with chance of beating steelers out and get to superbowl...not really a chance with the raiders

OP .. let me enlighten your perspective on the situation. The teams that will finish in the NFC/AFC championship game all have one thing in common..ZERO drama,a cohesive lockeroom, and Zero selfish motives.Yes there superstars on all these teams , but they keep their sht in check , for the sake of a common goal, The RING. In AB,Case, OBJ , Manzeil .and on and on we go down the leach line they LACK this gene . As far as the Gm, it is his job to keep this from being a problem, Treating like a slave you say, um no just keeping EVERYONE in check, pink, brwn, barney purple, blk wht whatever color we are..Serving in the military is similar, you count on each other.
NO I IN TEAM , NO RING , COLOR NOT THE PROBLEM .

AB?
who cares who AB is?
Albert Brooks? he never was a loud mouthed actor.
i am thinking he is an athlete?
no athlete is as big as the sport.
kinda what i remember...not really paying attn to the whole thing
Below is a timeline of the events that brought AB to Oakland, that led to his release, and that eventually got him to the Patriots – though if you’d rather not parse through it all, there’s this summation of the past month from Yahoo Sports’ Frank Schwab:
To sum up the madness, Brown (long breath) burned his feet in a cryotherapy mishap, fought the NFL over use of an outdated helmet, left the team while he threatened to sit out over the helmet issue, lost a grievance with the NFL over the helmet, was told his preferred replacement helmet wasn’t safe, complained about the NFL again, finally settled on a new helmet and reported, skipped enough meetings and practices to get fined more than $50,000, posted the fine letter to social media, got in a heated argument with GM Mike Mayock during practice, apologized after the Raiders threatened suspension, was told he could play Week 1, posted a video of a phone call with Jon Gruden to YouTube, was fined for the Mayock incident, was told his guaranteed money was voided, vowed to not play for the Raiders again, asked for his release, and was released on Saturday morning.
please keep the slave shit out of this crap...these fucking players are have no idea or probably no connection to any slaves in the past
when you're the boss and need to get shit done...the language can get a little rough...sometimes there are jesus moments you're trying to get across and need to get the frigging whip out or the business will blow up. color has nothing to do with it...attitude does
AB's ? piss poor as far as team shit goes
I'm on AP's side
He perhaps had a legit argument regarding his helmet and took it up w the NFL- which is his right if he had a gripe w the equipment, especially equipment that is essential to player's safety. Perhaps if the Raiders backed him as a teammate/player, this would've never gotten this far.
I think ab could've handled things better, but same goes for the Raiders.

So much DRAMA... in a team game... or NOT it's a bizness... BUT what about your TEAMMATES,!?
BUTT, shame on the Raidddders, you apologize n you can play on Monday Night, BUTT we have a secret we're then going to FINE you and eliminate you're GUARANTEED $,$$$,$$$...
Human Relations 1... See Ya Raiddders n Hello Defending Super Bowl Champs... even Hollywood couldn't create that script.
Still... they say the Raidders knew what they were getting when they traded for him... or NOT.
Just another reason to root against the Pats.
And what the. gal should’ve done with regards to the helmets is to do what the NHL did which was grandfathered incurrent players with their current equipment and require new players to use new equipment.
The Patriots can absorb some drama, but will cut him quick if he won’t fit in.
Look at the bright side of the situation. Perhaps this will earn Antonio Brown another appearance on "The Shop" with Lebron James.
This time instead of complaining about Pittsburgh he can complain about how the NFL didn't treat him right regarding his helmet, how the Raiders didn't treat him right and by the time he actually gets on the show he might be able to complain about the Patriots.

i would watch that...would love to see bron side with him about owners keeping the black man down
i mean governors (they changed it in basketball)

“Serious mental health issues’
Anyone with ANY experience with personality disorders can spot at least one of ABs issues.
We all have personality issues... but “normal” people have the ability to manage their quirks. Those who fall into the category of “extreme” usually allows their disorder to manage them.
AB has all of the tell tale signs of being an extreme narcissist.
They cannot admit when they are wrong. They have extreme problems submitting to authority. Any correction/discipline is taken very personally. They lack the ability to be “self-aware.’ Everything is run through the “me” filter. How do I feel about this? How does this impact me. How does this make me look?
They can force themselves to appear contrite, but it is manufactured to help them reach a selfish result. (ie: Friday morning team apology)
AB apologized... but the same day went back to the behavior that he was apologizing for.
We all run things through our “me” filter.... but we also have an “others” filter. Extreme narcissism severely discounts the information from the “others” filter.
He will force himself into the “team mold’ for a while... but he won’t be able to stay there. Not even for 50 million dollars with $30 million guaranteed.
There really isn’t a cure for his problem. The only hope is that people around you know/understand your brain doesn’t read information objectively and help to manage you (without you knowing you are being managed) Any correction or rebuke is taken as a personal attack rather than “coaching.”
If TB12 and the Hoodie treat him like they treat every other player... AB will explode after a while. I’m waiting to see if TB12 yells at him like he does his other receivers. AB led the league in catches over the last 3 seasons, yet he still complained about the # of passes thrown to him.
“He be making less but still have dignity.”
Guaranteed money was a big thing for him. To go from 30 million guaranteed to 10 and long term contract to 1yr would cause most of us to evaluate what happened. Not AB.
The reason he ended up with the Raiders rather than Buffalo or other interested teams was the issue of the amount of g-money.
Whose side am I on? AB’s. Why... everyone knew he was a malcontent when they signed him. You can’t know someone is a selfish jerk, invite them to your party anyway, and then get mad at him because he “surprisingly” started offending other party goers.
New England is suppose to be the team that does not put up with BS. I am looking forward to AB's next screw up to see what NE does.
AB should've gone to Rams. They would've made it to the Super Bowl again. AB and Brady playing together will be good and theyll go far this season. Go Dodgers! This is their year.
Raiders rewarded him for being a butthole, they should’ve traded for crumbs to Buffalo or Miami
Raiders have finally found a way to exact revenge for the 2001 Tuck Rule fiasco by unleashing the AB/Stuxnet trojan horse on the hated chowds.
FUCK this little diva bitch! aint no player above the collective team.
orchestrated his way from the steelers as he wanted more money....got the big money from a team not interested in playing on....tried to orchestrate a forced trade with his new big money contract, but there was a some cba language that derailed him
BUT he did make it to the team he wanted to go to...took a contract hit.
raiders pretty much get out of the deal paying nothing to him
patriots just smoked steelers...could be interesting season when they get him in the fold.

Kaiser Soce! Wow, that's an article! Wow. TY
Thank you everyone for your energy and input. I will prolly never do a blog about sports again. This issue just entertained me.
Back on the GM though, why isn't anyone bringing him up as much. Mikey is a trouble maker too. It wont be long until he does it with the next player... then the next.
All in all, I got to watch many of these announcers expose themselves. Smoochie-little-brown-nosers. Everyone just wanna copy each other.

You know you have gone to far down the rabbit hole when you get called out by O.J. Simpson and Terrell Owen's that you went to far.

Wage slaves, you don't how much these fat ass owners have and control. Its all about the money. And you are not getting any.

AB is 5150!,ignorant Ass Fool! Talented Dumb Ass! guarnteed 29 mil! all he had to do was play 1 game to lock it in! then the Oakland Traders would have been stuck, the whole reason why he wanted out of Pittsburgh, Not only 20 mil less with New England but now he's going to have to play to get back the other 20 and conform to Bill Belichick way and we know Bill don't Play that sh*t
