Measles was declared eradicated from the US in Y2K and now its on the rise again.
Idiots wondering WHY?
What none of these anti vax idiots even consider is, perhaps the rise of autism is somehow connected to the bullshit ingredients no one can pronounce in processed food. Or the shit in the air we breath, or in the water we drink, or a thousand other reasons.

Make an appointment to see your doctor. The inoculation you received when you were in basic training should provide you with an immunity today. BUT...if you are traveling to areas of the world where measles has resurfaced, like Disneyland, the doctor can do a measles titer just to be sure if you have the immunity. A titer test is a blood test that checks for the presence of certain antibodies in the blood stream. Antibodies are made by your immune system to help fight and control an infection such as measles. Your body produces the antibodies either in response to the an actual measles infection or in response to a measles immunization shot. A measles titer wlll show if you have the measles antibodies. I just got a measles booster shot because I am traveling frequently to places where the virus has resurfaced. Since the virus is airborne and highly virulent, therefore easily spread in the closed circulation system of an airplane, we went for the safety.
So far, I have not become autistic or retarded but I still have a few years left to live.
