Friggin non-vaccinators. Thought this problem was gone decades ago. Then the internet comes along and provides less than factual data and the wiennies who believe everything they read stop vaccinating. Ugh.
Love the story about the Christian Science "boat" that is quarantined someone in the world.

Media hype. I mean Iām MMRd tf up with active titers so Iām not stressed at all. š¤·š»āāļø This is how vaccines work. You all (presumably) lived through the 80s where we sometimes had over 10,000 cases a year of measles and zero hysteria.
Also the EU had 60,000+ cases total in 2017 and yet I never hear anyone freaking out about their romantic getaway to Paris or their cheese tour of the Alps. š¤š¤

I think the difference now, regarding the hype is that measles was declared eradicated in Y2K and now there are almost a thousand cases (that we know of).

There are always people who don't want to conform whether it is vaccinations or something else. As things go spreading measles is not as deadly as texting while driving.

Thousands of cases? I think you're right!
Actually I just looked and it said 40 cases in California.
Big moves for vaccine makers to not only mandate everybody get vaccines but are testing various new vaccines. You do realize it is an industry that is worried about maintaining customers and gaining new compulsory customers to make money than they are about anybody's health

It doesn't matter anyway.
I believe that we are the last few generations that will live out our lives before the shit really hits the fan.
Sucks to be a new person arriving this year.

@lovegun
BINGO.
@interface
True indeed. Or like a million other things. Measles is statistically far less likely to kill someone than say, the car ride to get the measles shot. šš
